Q. I am interested in membership in the JCA, where can I find out more about the club?

Q. How do I become a member?
A. You may download an application on several different pages; look on the Links page.
Q. Do you post scores?
A. No. The JCA does not record or post scores. A random drawing is done from the registration sheets and those chosen are awarded a pass to shoot for free.
Q. How do I know if I've won a free shoot?
A. Look on the Postings Board page for results and other important public notices.
Q. Do you loan out targets?
A. No. We do however sell targets which will not stand up to tournament use anymore at minimal prices.
Q. Is your range open to the public when there is not a scheduled shoot?
A. YES! The range belongs to the U of I and is open to the public during regular park hours except when organized events are going on. See the Official Stuff page for more detail.
Q. What are the hours of operations?
A. The park hours are;
April 1 - October 31, 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily
November 1 - March 31, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. daily
The range is open durring these hours to the public.
Hours for scheduled events are posted with that events information.
For standard 3D shoots the hours are as follows;
Registration times - Saturday 7am to 1pm, Sunday 7am to NOON. Please note registration times, registration and the course will not open until 7am, those showing up after 1pm Saturday or noon Sunday will not be allowed to shoot, no exceptions. Shooters on Saturday will be allowed to finish provided there is nothing scheduled that eavening. On Sunday targets will begin being picked up about 30 minutes after the last registerd shooters. All shooters should start on side one on sunday to assure they get to shoot both sides.
