It can take a week or so to tabulate and rady scores for posting.
Q. Is your range open to the public when there is not a scheduled shoot?
A. YES! The range belongs to the U of I and is open to the public during regular park hours except when organized events are going on. See the Official Stuff page for more detail.
Q. What are the hours of operations?
A. The park hours are;
April 1 - October 31, 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily
November 1 - March 31, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. daily
The range is open during these hours to the public.
During the Months of June, July and August the Range is closed from 8am -5pm Monday thru Friday for youth camps that use the area.
Hours for scheduled events are posted with that events information.
For standard 3D shoots the hours are as follows;
Registration times - Saturday 7am to 2pm, Sunday 7am to NOON. Please note registration times, registration and the course will not open until 7am, those showing up after 2pm Saturday or noon Sunday will not be allowed to shoot, no exceptions. Shooters on Saturday will be allowed to finish provided there is nothing scheduled that eavening. On Sunday targets will begin being picked up about 30 minutes after the last registerd shooters. All shooters should start on side one on Sunday to assure they get to shoot both sides.

A. No, we are currently not offering any kind of class.

A. No, we do not have equipment to loan.
Q. Is the range staffed? Are instructors available? Will there be someone at the range to help me?
A. No. The range is "self serve" and you are on your own.
The range is owned by the U of I and the JCA simply maintains it as an archery range, we do not provide any services other than our organized 3D shoots.
